I only have a couple weeks left of school (well Japanese class...I don't take anything else) until fall. I'm going to take the third year of Japanese, though it isn't being taught by Tsurui-sensei, who has been my teacher and friend for the last two years. After the first year I held a party for her and a couple classmates. This year I will be holding it on the 6th of June, for alot more classmates than before. And a month or so ago I convinced my hubby to finally let me rearrange the upstairs. That's three rooms, which house 90% of our collections, books, and art supplies. I am insane.
The main purpose of the move is to switch the study and the workshop. They are basically the same size and layout, however the workshop currently averages 6 degrees cooler fully lit than the darkened study. I also decided to repaint my workshop, changing from a crappy grey (some greys are pretty..not this one) to a yellow. Yellow rooms are supposed to inspire creativity and energy...and I seriously need that.
My pet raccoon, Mama, has become even more friendly. She usually rests her elbows on my leg when she eats her cinnamon graham crackers, and occasionally will climb onto my lap. And she has decided these crackers are the best thing in the world. If I hand her something different, she will put it on the ground and take hold of my hand with her little paws. Puppies have nothing on this raccoon for doing the ultra cute begging eyes. She has also gotten used to my schedule now and arrives at the front door, or is waiting on the stairs when I get home.
And thanks to an ebay seller named edo-iki I now know the most awesome Pon Poko collectible exists! It is an incense burner in the shape of Shoukichi transformed into a tea kettle. [link])+n+g!Wk~$(KGrHgoOKjQEjlLmQu1cBKE7WbIFjw~~_1.JPG
I should be able to get it for about twenty bucks cheaper by going through Celga and purchasing off Rakuten.
Many thanks to all the new watches and the lovely folk who've favourited some of my stuffs!

Daniel Radcliffe emphatically replies, "Yes! All the time! And they are rarely using similes!"
